You can delete your Grovr account — and the personal data tied to it — at any time, either from inside the app or by emailing us. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Delete in the app (fastest)
- Open Grovr and go to Profile.
- Choose Delete Account.
- Confirm. Your account is deleted immediately — no waiting period, no emails to send.
This removes your identity from Grovr's backend the moment you confirm.

No longer have the app?
Email privacy@grovr.team from the address your account is registered under, with the subject line "Delete my account". We'll verify the request belongs to you and complete the deletion within 30 days, then confirm by reply.

What gets deleted — and what remains
- Deleted. Your account and email address, profile and photo, chat messages, push notification tokens — your identity is removed from Grovr.
- Backups. Automated database backups are retained for up to 30 days after deletion before being permanently overwritten.
- Club records. Match records, scorecards, and finance history entered for your club remain with the club — your identity is unlinked from those records when the account is deleted.
- Streams. Live streams live on YouTube under your own account. Deleting your Grovr account does not delete YouTube content — manage that from YouTube directly.
